评委介绍丨第一届全球中非写作大赛（2023-2024）China-Africa Writing Competition

征稿启事丨第一届全球中非写作大赛 CA/AC Global China-Africa Writing Competition

CASIN（上海中非研究网络）与大赛统筹人每年邀请不与上一年有任何人员重复的五位评委组成评委组。大赛评审机制为匿名打分制。评委盲审作品文件后匿名打分，按照平均分高低选出金银奖，若有同分数作品出现，则组织集体打分投票。

A different panel of five competition judges are invited by CASIN and the competition manager every year, and the competition works with the judging method of anonymous marking. The judges will read and mark each submission anonymously, and all the submissions will then be ranked according to their average mark to decide who the winners and runners-up are. If the top works happen to have the same mark, the judges will discuss and vote to decide which work shall receive the award(s).

施东来，牛津大学英文系比较文学博士，现任上海交通大学人文学院长聘教轨副教授以及华威大学现代语言文学系翻译与文化研究专业硕士生兼职导师，编有《World Literature in Motion》。专注领域包括世界文学理论，后殖民研究，华语文化研究和中非人文交流。学术论文散见于Critical Comparative Studies, Translation & Literature, Comparative Literature Studies等AHCI期刊以及Sixth Tone, 文学报等中英媒体。他目前正在筹备他的第一部英文专著《Yellow Peril Revisited》以及探索更多当代中非文化产品中的种族政治。

Flair Donglai SHI is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature based at the School of Humanities, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He holds a PhD in English from Oxford University and works as Associate Tutor in Translation Studies at Warwick University. His research areas include world literature theory, race and postcolonial studies, Sinophone Studies, and China-Africa cultural relations. He has published an edited book, World Literature in Motion, and many articles in international journals like Critical Comparative Studies, Translation & Literature, and Comparative Literature Studies, and on media platforms like Sixth Tone and Journal of Literature. He is currently working on his monograph entitled Yellow Peril Revisited while furthering his research on the interracial politics represented in contemporary China-Africa cultural products.

Cheng Ying (Peking University)

程莹，北京大学外国语学院亚非系助理教授。博士毕业于伦敦大学亚非学院非洲语言文化系。目前担任罗德斯大学（Rhodes University）非洲与南南艺术项目（Arts of Africa and Global South）研究员，北京大学非洲研究中心副秘书长。主要研究兴趣为撒哈拉以南地区的非洲文学、非洲艺术与当代社会、非洲青年与大众文化、中非间的文化互动等。她曾多次赴尼日利亚、南非等地进行田野调查，并在《文艺理论与批评》，African Arts， African Theatre， Journal of African Cultural Studies, Routledge Handbook of African Literature等国内外学术刊物发表论文数篇。

Ying Cheng is an assistant professor in the Department of Asian and African Languages and Cultures, Peking University. Her research interests include youth and popular culture in Africa, African visual and performance arts, cultural interactions between China and Africa, and so on. Dr Ying Cheng has also been a research associate (Arts of Africa and the Souths) of Rhodes University, South Africa since 2017. In recent years, she has published articles in African Arts, Journal of African Culture Studies, Routeledge Handbook of African Literature, African Theatre, and so on.

Kwesi Dzapong Lwazi Prah (University of South Africa)

快思教授是供职于南非大学历史系的一名历史学家，并在华东师范大学担任兼职教师。他的研究兴趣包括现代东亚史和非洲经济史。他是中非系列小说《三宝》的作者。

Prof Kwesi DLS Prah is a historian based in the Department of History at the University of South Africa. His research interests include modern East Asian history and African economic history. He is also an Adjunct Research Associate at East China Normal University based in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China. He is the author of the ongoing novel series on Zheng He called Sanbao: Three Treasures.

Ignatius Suglo (University of Pennsylvania)

一休是一名供职于宾夕法尼亚大学全球传播高级研究中心的博士后研究员，主攻文化历史学。他于香港大学取得中国研究博士学位。他的研究兴趣包括中非之间的物质与文化交流、跨区域媒体交流史、数字离散群体等。他目前的研究主要聚焦在中国媒体如何通过不同的文本及视听形式塑造非洲形象及生产充满着延续性、断裂性、纠葛性的认识非洲的方法。他在包括Verge: Studies in Global Asias, Journal of Asian and African Studies, and Hong Kong Review of Books等一系列的国际期刊上发表过论文。

Ignatius Suglo is a cultural historian and a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Advanced Research in Global Communication, University of Pennsylvania. He completed his PhD in China Studies at the University of Hong Kong. His research interests include Afro-Asian material and cultural engagements; transregional media histories; and Digital Diasporas. His current work examines worldmaking in Global China through analyzing textual, visual, aural, and audiovisual media about Africa from late 19th century China till present. It traces continuities, fractures, and entanglements of co-creation of ways of knowing Africa through popular media produced and circulated in China. His work has been published in Verge: Studies in Global Asias, Journal of Asian and African Studies, and Hong Kong Review of Books.

Mingqing Yuan (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg)

袁明清现为德国埃尔朗根-纽伦堡大学讲师，同时也是“重思非洲研究”项目成员。她主要关注文学和文化研究，尤其是中国和非洲的文化交流互动。她的研究兴趣包括文化冷战和非洲，后殖民研究和翻译研究。她于去年毕业于拜罗伊特大学非洲研究国际研究生院，并在多个国际期刊和媒体发表文章。

Mingqing Yuan is a senior lecturer at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany and research fellow of “Recalibrating Afrikanistik” funded by Volkswagen Stiftung. She is a scholar of literary and cultural studies, focusing on Africa-China cultural interactions. Her research interests include Africa and cultural Cold War, postcolonialism and translation studies. She just defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Literalizing Kenya-China: from ‘Third World’ to Global South” at Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies and has published in Interventions, Journal of African Cultural Studies, Afrika Focus and BIGSAS works!.

Zhang Yong (Zhejiang University)

张勇，纪录片导演，电影学博士，现任教于浙江大学传媒与国际文化学院，担任博士生导师，中非视听工作室负责人，在Journal of African Cultural Studies、《当代电影》、《中国社会科学报》等刊物发表论文多篇，导演创作中非纪录片《我从非洲来》、《重走坦赞铁路》、《波比的工厂》、《我到非洲去》、《90后的中非情缘》等，相关作品被译制成英语、法语、斯瓦希里语、豪萨语等在多个国家传播。

Dr. ZHANG Yong is a “Hundred Talents Program” Research Fellow and a Doctoral Supervisor at Zhejiang University. He is the first Chinese scholar focusing on African Film Studies as well as China-Africa Film Relations, and has published several influential books in Chinese, including African Film Studies, Uhuru:The Story of Tanzania-Zambia Railway and Africans in China. He is also a dedicated documentary film director. His film works include Africans in Yiwu, TAZARA: A Journey Without an End and Bobby’s Factory. These films have been translated into English, French, Swahili, and Hausa, and broadcasted in many African countries.
